Malaria Prevention

2025-01-13

Insecticide-treated nets (ITN) are one of the most effective and cost-efficient ways to prevent the spread of malaria. According to the newest WHO World Malaria Report, ITNs reduced malaria cases by 50% in Sub-Saharan Africa. ITNs not only protect their users but also nearby people without nets, as they reduce the overall mosquito population and prevent the users from becoming malaria hosts.

Due to a lack of scientific knowledge and the influence of long-term customs, many local residents are not fully aware of the importance of preventative measures. We are trying to educate and promote bed net use while distributing long-lasting ITNs. Our plan is to distribute 500 nets before the end of the year.

Join us in the battle against malaria. You can donate one insecticide-treated bed net and protect a child with just $25.
